"Statue!...."

Ok, so my Dad will most likely be the only one who really gets a kick out of this video. Background: My dad started this thing with Caitlin and Abby where he yells "statue!" at any random time or place and they have to freeze in the best statue position they can. It's been a fun thing whenever we're around him. Emma is starting to want to do whatever the girls do...so I had to throw this video of her on here doing her version of 'Statue!'. The 1st clip is of Cait and Abs doing 'Statue'....

There ya go Pops...all for you!

She's Done..What A Champ!

1st day with the band.

We would put new stickers on the back every morning to make it a little bit cuter.

Sleeping like a dream.
Last week with the band. All done, and still as cute as ever!
Emma has been such a little trooper the past 2 months with her cranial band. When she got it they hoped that 8 weeks would get her head back in the normal range. It was HOT...and it was a pain a lot of the time (not to mention stinky), but she was such a champ. She never cared if it was on...she slept just like normal. When I would take it off for an hour every day to wash it and to bathe her...she would always bring it back to me to put it back on.

We would get a lot of strange looks, and even more strange comments about her band. I overheard someone walk by and say, "Oh I feel SOOO bad for that baby, that must be MISERABLE to sleep in! It looks so uncomfortable." If only you could have a shirt printed to explain everything....sheesh.

After our trip to Utah, we got back and went in for her checkup, and her measurements. To our surprise...she was DONE! Her head filled in in the spots it needed to, and she was done. After the orthotist told us that, I was so thrilled, but Emma was begging to put it back on. I let her wear it for the last few minutes out to the van, and then I hid it so she wouldn't beg for it anymore. All-in-all it was an experience, and I'm so thankful that she did so well with it.

Wedding Bliss

The main reason we went to Utah was for Sarah and Jake's wedding. Then when my Dad said he was getting married July 2, we figured we should just stay rather than come back for a couple days and then fly back out. It was a loong LOOONG (did I mention long?) trip away from home, and away from Nate most of the time. We had a blast, we visited a ton of people, etc. But it still was hard being away from home that long. I'm a baby...I know.

Back to the reason for the post:
The cute couple.
When you only have one sister a special bond grows and I love this girls so much!!
Congrats guys!
The 5 cute nieces. Yes, we only produce females on our side of the family. And I love it! Caitlin helping Emma. Emma bent out of shape that Caitlin is touching her. One day Emma will realize how good she had it with Caitlin helping her all the time. Apparently it wasn't this day.
Abs and Sare. And cute Delaney in the background.

Ems and Sare

I'm sure the photographer was ticked that the pictures were taking twice as long because the nieces all insisted on carrying Sarah's train for her.
Cute girls groovin' to Grandpa Brian's and Uncle Dennis' music.
How I love this girl.
The band. And yes...look to the right...a little farther...there. The Fan Club.
My sweet Aunt Gloria took Emma for me for a while and Emma snuggled down and went to sleep. Poor sleep deprived bebe!
Erin (my step-sister) did Caitlin's hair...and how could I resist posting this picture with Delaney's pose?
The girls in Gloria and Gary's camper. Thanks guys for entertaining and feeding the girls and I!
