Happy Easter and Catch up Posts!

Happy Easter!!!! We have been blessed to have so many birthdays and visitors and Easter too this month and we have been so busy! It's been a blast and we've enjoyed every minute...I just haven't had many spare minutes with all the fun to catch up on our blog. Here are some of our Easter pictures and the next few posts are catch up ones. Happy reading...looking...etc!!! And hippity hoppity Happy Easter!!!

Emma got mad that they were holding her hands so she tried to throw a fit and whacked her poor little head on the wall behind her...sad!

Ready for church!

Comin' down the hall to see the loot the Easter Bunny left! Emma's 1st Easter too...how fun!!!
The girls' roses from Daddy. Awwwww.

The roses Nate got for me (and the girls). So sweet..they are the prettiest roses!!! My old camera dosen't do them justice...but really they are beautiful. Thank you Nate!!

Just for the heck of it....

Ok...so amid all these catch-up posts I found a few pics that don't really fit anywhere. So here's a post for all you odd-ball misfit pictures.

The other night Caitlin wanted 2 strawberry marshmallows for dessert. I handed them to her, and went out to the garage to put something away. A couple seconds later Caitlin comes wandering out into the garage acting like a zombie with the marshmallows shoved on her eyes. I about died laughing...what a weirdo.

Love this chubby cheek girl. I thought this pic was funny because it looks like Emma sat her doll down and is scolding her for something :o) This was Emma's bday present from Mommy and Daddy. She loves it and pounds on the sliding door all day to go swing. But once IN the swing...she demands strict attention or she wants back out in a couple minutes. Girls...so demanding! The girls have been begging to decorate flip-flops for a long time, and the other day they were on sale at HobbyLobby for 75 cents. So we bought 3 and had Allie come over and tie fabric on them. (Of course Linds and I ended up doing all the work :o)

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Caitlin!!

I can't believe Caitlin is already 6 years old! She has taught me so much the past 6 years of my life, and I am so grateful for every minute she's been a part of our family. Caitlin is so smart, yet she loves to have fun and joke around and make others happy. She is my little mother hen with Abby and Emma. For now she's Nate's only 'son' in the aspect that she loves camping, bugs, and isn't really afraid of anything.

Caitlin has been begging for a LONG time to get her ears pierced, and we decided to wait until she's 6 to allow her if she wanted too. Well...she still was dying to get it done, so I took her to the mall to get them pierced. The whole time walking to the store I would ask, "Are you nervous? Are you sure you want to get this done? It might hurt a little bit." She had NO reservations...she was on a mission.

Well...they pierced them. I don't even think she blinked! I remember bawling like a baby when I got my ears pierced when I was little. But she just looked at me like, "That was IT Mom?" Which was good for me I guess...I would've felt so bad if she was in a ton of pain.

Caitlin had a little family party with us on her birthday, and then she invited a few friends over for a party a couple days later. She had so much fun, and it is so hard to watch my little girl grow up so fast! I love you Caitlin.

After school...they spoiled her in her class.

Friends birthday party. There really is a candle on those cupcakes that she's blowing out...really there is. Somewhere.

New bike...finally!
Family bday party
Fun activity books from Mom Diggity Dawg Nielson :oP Thanks! New earrings from Grandpa!!
Before. Yeah..she doesn't look too scared does she.
She's just watching to make sure it's a completely sterile procedure.
One...two...three!!!Yup. Right after the fact. No tears. Puts my childhood years to shame!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE!!

Well...ok, so I'm posting this a couple weeks late. But we DID have a little fun for Nate's birthday. The day before Nate's bday his brother Andrew and his wife Trista and baby Jaydee came to stay for a few days while Andrew competed for USU (go Aggies) in the racquetball Nationals at ASU. So for Nate's birthday we had some cake and ice cream and such...and then headed over to the batting cages. Nate turned the big 3-0 which he wasn't too thrilled about...but I am so grateful that he's been mine for 7 of his 30 years!!! I love you Buns...happy birthday!!

Nate laughing at the purple whoopie cushion Abs picked out for him.
Fuzzy picture...at least it proves Nate was at the cages. ;o)
Abs...the supporting batter. "If I close my eyes...it'll hurt less!"
Smack that thing Trist!
Nate's brother Andrew. And yes that's a brand new expensive bat..and his own personal batting helmet too. Ha.

Murphy's Visit!

My aunt Pauline and uncle Bob brought my Grandpa and Grandma Murphy to visit for a week at the end of March. It was a BLAST! They drove their RV that Bob revamped, and Caitlin and Abby slept out there with Bob and Pauline the whole week. It was heaven for the girls! It was so good to see all of them and to visit and play bowling on Wii. It was great to see my Grandpa and Grandma, and especially to see that even though Grandpa is a little feeble...he still is my fun-loving, silly-teasing grandpa. Emma would just look at him and smile and laugh when he would tease her! Bob took us to an A's vs. Cubs spring training game, and that was a lot of fun. We went to dinner at Nandos, had a birthday party party for Pauline and Emma, among other fun things. Here's the rest in pictures...we miss you already guys!!!!!

"Ohhhhhhh!"

Just a funny little clip of Ems eating her bday cake. She was in this phase of saying "oh" for everything.
