they FINALLY started!

holy ba-jeebers folks. we FINALLY got the call today that the building permit went through and they are just now starting our house. (as in like RIGHT NOW they are doing the footings). they think they can still do it in 30 days (since we're supposed to be moving in 30 days)...so let's hope everything goes smoothly. pretty exciting though....now i can breathe a sigh of relief!

nate got this bad boy for his graduation present....

and in turn it has given him this:

along with broken ribs, road rash EVERYWHERE you can imagine, etc. so yes, his wrist is broken. and they might even have to do surgery. he's in a temp cast now, and they do an m.r.i. next week to see if it needs surgery. they're thinking he may have torn a tendon or ligament that holds 2 of your bones in your wrist together. it was well-stated by his friend, "dealing with the wife afterward is worse than the injuries themselves." sad! but true. i wasn't too happy about this injury so close to when we're moving. but he's been super good to still be out working, and helping around the house, and one-handed mowing the lawn, etc... i guess his bike will be hanging up in the garage (like it is in the picture) for a while now.

My little bro got his mission call to New Joy-zee! Congrats Poots...we are so excited for you!!!
