Quick Utah Trip

Last post...I promise! (for tonight at least). The girls and I took a quick trip to Utah for my Mom and Gary's wedding. My poor sister ended up in the hospital needing a quick surgery, but she's on the mend if she would STAY IN BED!!! (hint hint Sare!) It was a super short trip, but super fun and great weather!

Emma cried on my lap on the plane...she was only happy sitting on Caitlin's lap looking out the window. Caitlin is SUCH a big helper for me!!

Randomness

Here we go on our little photo journey...

Popsicles... "Uh..I'll take another one Mom!" Emma thinks she's the BOMB when we let her eat popsicles by herself.

Abby and sweet Maeva! Melissa and her 2 girls were in Arizona for a week, and we got to see them a few times!! They were our next-door neighbors in Kirksville...I miss those days!! The thing I love most about Maeva? She still has an awesome sense of humor. She totally gets my sarcasm and she makes me laugh!!

This is 'The Naughty Spot' that we have in our hall, if the kiddos by chance need to go on time-out.

The other day Caitlin and Abby were fighting, so I sent them both into the hall on the Naughty Spot for a few minutes. I looked in the hall, and this is what I found. Apparently Emma didn't want to be left out! :o)

Abby always begs to have 'quiet time' instead of naptime. This is what I usually find when cave to her 'quiet time'. Yup..I guess it IS quiet after all, right?

So we've had this problem with a single LOUD cricket camping out somewhere in our bathroom THAT WE CAN NOT FIND...and then deciding to chirp at random inopportune times (um...like every 15 minutes between 9pm and 4am). I had been losing HOURS of sleep every night due to this, so I begged Nate to look into it further. This is when he disassembled part of the cabinets in hopes of finding the little bugger. No luck. Dagnabbit.
